Color history was first defined by, yes.. Sir Isaac Newton, in 1666 (yikes – the last 3 numerals!). Clearly a great ‘mind’.  Who introduced the color circle. Green, yellow, cyan, red, blue and magenta. He discovered that when pure white light passes through a prism, it separates into all of the visible colors. Newton also found that each color is made up of a single wavelength and cannot be separated any further into other colors. And then in the 1860’s, ole James Clerk Maxwell decided to go on…See More

Accountability is Queen

Here at MOOv, we operate a bit differently than most companies. As the Chief Accountability Officer here, my gig is to be Air Traffic Controller. From all the creative folks to the account managers to dabbling in operations. Promises are huge here. We, collectively, (like the borg) do not make promises that we cannot keep. Your word is worth gold, your effort is always 110% and you live true. Those are my thoughts on my job  I love it and the culture that we have created here. Some cool quotes…See More

Rock the Cheetah's Ass

The following passage is from a book published in 1951 titled The Scottish Himalayan Expedition by W.H. Murray. It is one of my favorites. If you can get through the "old fashioned" language, this is really just another way to talk about the Wired World Media value of "Rock the Cheetah's Ass."Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back, always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills…See More

Education officially goes interactive!

If you have a child entering grade school within the next 5 years, there’s a good chance they will have the same reaction to the word “textbook” as today’s 18 year olds have to the phrase “CD player”. The paper based (over-priced) textbook and education in general as we know it are forever changing. Based on…See More
